A layer of seasoned avocado spread is topped with fresh slices, a drizzle of chili crunch for heat and texture, and a sprinkle of everything seasoning for savory depth. Finished with delicate microgreens, it’s simple yet thoughtfully layered—perfect for breakfast, a light lunch, or an afternoon reset.

Use a ripe but firm avocado so the slices hold their shape while the mashed layer stays creamy. Toast the bread until deeply golden to support the toppings without becoming soggy. Add the chili crunch just before serving to keep its texture intact, and season lightly at first—everything seasoning and chili oil both bring salt. Serve immediately while the toast is still warm and crisp.

Avocado Toast

Ingredients

- 1 slice sourdough or artisan bread, toasted
- 1 ripe avocado
- ¼ tsp garlic powder
- ¼ tsp onion powder
- Momofuku Chili Crunch, to drizzle
- Trader Joe’s Everything but the Bagel Seasoning
- Handful of microgreens

Steps to Cook

1. Toast the bread until golden and crisp. Set aside.

2. In a small bowl, mash half of the avocado with garlic powder and onion powder until mostly smooth.

3. Spread the avocado smash evenly over the toasted bread.

4. Thinly slice the remaining avocado and layer it neatly on top of the smash.

5. Drizzle lightly with Momofuku Chili Crunch, sprinkle with Everything but the Bagel seasoning, and finish with microgreens.

6. Serve immediately while the toast is warm and crisp.
